"When I think of the wisdom and scope of God's plan, I fall to my knees and pray to the Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth. I pray from his glorious, unlimited resources he will give you mighty inner strength throughout his Holy Spirit. And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love." Ephesians 3:14-17
The other night as I was praying with friends, getting ready to go out to a part of the city that has no idea of who God is, this verse spoke to me. For awhile now, people have been coming every weekend to pray and to share Christ in this area. And each week, something happens. Something completely wild and something completely ordained by God. Just like Paul, when I think about the Wisdom and Scope of God's plan, all I can do is fall to my knees.
